I've been intending to respond to the orchid color. I think of it as
pink-lavender. I call Lilting Laura mid lavender and the other pinks are
pinker but still have the blue cast and I would have to call them lavender.
I took the RHS color charts to quilting and about 6 of us choose what we
call orchid and there was quite a bit of variety and I think it is even worse
when men do the same exercise. I think of Liatris as lavender. There are 3
color theories and there are differences. I have tried to have color chart
readings on my introductions but that only helps if others have access to
them and they vary some from year to year but are pretty consistent. They
are not easy to read and sunlight and shade make a difference. Anna Mae
