I had a TB seedling show the demarcation type of coloring in it's falls
first year (tan-gold and gold overlaid lavender with a distinct purple
midline) on all blooms. Wasn't sure if it was a trick of weather or
genetics, so held onto it.
No bloom from it last year, but it's marked and I'm curious to see if it
does this again.

I just got an e-mail and photo from Jean-Marc Boileau of a tetraploid
seedling
that reliably has two blue falls and one red one. <<
>> In the last few years I have had two
diploid seedlings (from quite different parents) in which the the left half
of
each fall is blue and the right half is red. The "demarcation" line between
the two colors is quite sharp and each covers exactly half of the fall. <<
>> Has anyone else seen this? How about any other unusal color
patterns of this type? <<
