I used the spelling, "Ueber Den Wolken" that was listed in the tour booklet
from Michigan. This is also the one used for the registration in the
Siberian Iris Checklist.
I see that Julius Wadekamper does have "Uber den Volken" listed in his 1999
Willowood catalog and the price is $3.00, the same as most of his listings.
His description is "Large billowing flowers make this "Over the clouds"
flower very special. Beautiful upright foliage and along with 'Steve
Varner' one of the best light blues. From Germany."
I have grown mine for about three years and must never have been impressed
enough with the plant to have any mental or written description of it. It
will be at the top of my list for closer obersvation this year.
