Hi,
After reading all the postings about this iris, I got out my box of Siberian
slides and found one marked "Ueber Den Wolken" taken in the Maynard garden in
1993. I remember having a lot of trouble trying to get blue irises to look
blue at that convention. However, my slide shows a full violet self with
prominent signals. Standards are upright and falls are wide and have a
velvety finish. It would seem that this iris was mislabeled.
