Re: Christy Hensler's sib/JI crosses

Bob,

You've got one of my most interesting seedlings from an advanced cross
#97-033 (baby pink standards, light lavender falls with a powder blue halo).

The other is an F1, 92JS8A. This one has light grape standards and falls and
is one of the latest blooming. She's also been one of the most trouble free.
One clump in front of the greenhouse was 6 years old last season and put on
quite a show in spite of record heat and drought. Watering was kept to less
than 1" every week. The bed was new when it was planted and had only a
minimum of compost added when the soil was first turned.

I planted a start of this at my parents' place in Odessa, WA last spring.
Their soil ph checked out at between 7.6 and 8, BTW. Next spring's check
will be the most informative but so far, it's been doing well

Christy
