At an accredited AIS show in our region, usually there are
checklists available and I bring my own Judge's manual and a
cumulative Siberian checklist for myself.

Question: I can't imagine a Judging team taking issue with the
CLASS that the entrant was registered with in the AIS R & I's. I
am not saying that it has never happened or that it is not
'legal' for a Judge's to do it.

PLACED in the wrong section at an AIS show. ***

That is a different kettle of fish and that does happen and it
is the Judges' (individual or collective) responsiblity/duty to
correct it and they do. Depending on the personalities of the
judging team, it can be done gracefully or it can be fractious.
I have seen it both ways in my brief tenure as a Judge and nice
is better.

:-)

Cheers,
