Re: Iris cristata

I do not have much information on file and if you can supply it I will be happy to register it and if you like you may introduce it. It seems like a valuable plant for the gene pool if nothing else and I would like to see it available. Some years back I even went to the trouble of writing to obtain permission to use the name which was granted. It seems Ironic that I always wind up out of town or distracted when I should be out measuring it.

grow Edgar Anderson and have it in several large clumps. It is a wonderful
cristata. It may not grow as tall as Powder Blue Giant but it is quite tall and
certainly has value as a cultivar. I would love to see you register it. It has
a lovely diffused signal which is unlike any other cristata we grow. If you
need the measurements and color typing for registration, let me know, I
believe we have it somewhere. Jan Sacks
