It is also a problem for me in northern New Hampshire. Since I don't hybridize, I don't consider it a 'very big' problem. It is worse some years - it was minimal in 2007 but in 2006 it was more of a problem.  I can't relate any connection with rain,etc. We always get a lot of rain and snow and very cold weather.
