<<I am interested if there are any subscribers on this list at or below 36
degrees lattitude, such as here in Northwest Arkansas. Here, we can have
extended hot, dry periods (lasting into October), which, I assume, is hard
on them, since they're done blooming in mid-May. I want to add some
Siberians this fall, and would like to hear of some additional varieties
doing well in longer growing seasons.
Examples of some that are doing quite well here are:
Butter and Sugar (yellow fades out quickly during day)
Anniversary (grows like a weed)
Mesa Pearl (good performer)
Lady Vanessa (tallest, most vigorous looking clumps)
Pansy Purple (best overall)
High Standards (has taken awhile to get clump established)
(I won't get into the many which have not done so well)
Thanks in advance,

My son lives just S. of Ft. Smith and I have sent him most of my
introductions and I personally saw Aqua Whispers growing. He is <karlkate@val
uelinx.net> and he can tell you which have done well for him. He moved
several clumps last mid Nov. and I haven't checked on how they survived and
bloomed this spring. Anna Mae Miller , Kalamazoo MI Z5
