Hello,
Evelyn White of Maine (wife of John White, hybridizer of JIs and SIs),died
at home surrounded by her family early Friday. She was a former editor of
'The Review', the publication of the Society for Japanese Irises. On a
personal note, she was a great lady - kind and gracious.
>>>>Her funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30th at 11:00 AM at
the High Street Congregational Church on High Street in Auburn. All are
welcome to attend. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers that
contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society. She will be buried
on the family lot in the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, not far from
where she lived all her married life.<<<<
