Re: Question regarding Siberian Iris Blooms

I can't really answer this question directly, but I might comment that this
spring I moved a small clump of 'Shall We Dance,' wanting to put it in more
sun and set it a little deeper. It produced its most plentiful display to
date, though on slightly shorter stems. Normally irises do show a little
shock, but I always try to dig deep and get as many roots as possible. It is
also important, in my experience, to move any perennials as early as
possible. (I get very good results dividing monkshoods early in spring too
for example.) Your plant should recover just fine. Care and water especially
this season will determine next seasons flowers.
