brown leaves again

Well I dug Sprinkles and all rhizomes and stems are intact, not a trace
or a sign of a borer. I've had borers in Siberians occastionally and
usually don't know it until a whole section dies. This is very
different. In the beardeds I do have 4 plants that show borer damage
and I managed to mush one in the leaves and the others in the rhizome.
I also have the single brown middle leaf in the beardeds and none so far
have been the result of borers. I do hope I don't have the fungal
probably that was written about! Maybe these are exceptionally clean
borers and they left no frass, no holes and have left? Well Sprinkles
is replanted in a hole to die for and watered in with Roots and
Miracide. Thank you all for your help.
