Re: mowing Siberians


Hi Ellen, and robins,
 I work as a horticulturist, and have many very large SI and JI 
plantings. In the fall, I use a 1000 lb 6' wide mower to cut them to the 
ground. I have no problems with this, but I do not ride over the crowns. 
Tags would be a problem, but mapping ahead of time is a good solution. Jim
