I have been using Roundup transorb at rate of 1 cup (8 fluid oz) to 11 liters ( about 4 USA gallons). For more stubborn weed I add 1/4 cup (2 oz) of a lawn weed killer with pricep and 2-4-D. This really does a nice job on weed and no ill effect (other then flower damage in spring). I use low preassure and spray close to ground.
Have tried to eliminate iris (bearded) from an old field and sprayed heavily and repeatedly. Weeds died, iris lived.
