{Disarmed} Re: Guest Iris

Hi Terry,
The gardens at the Siberian/Species Convention were lovely and the flowers were great. But the weather was horrible. It stayed in the 50's for the entire week on the AIS Convention and for the Siberian- Species Convention as well. Not only was it cool, but it rained, and rained, and rained every day at every garden at least once per garden and sometimes the entire time. I was glad they supplied us with ponchos. We needed them. I never get colds, but I came home with one after this convention. I must say that the garden hosts were nice and courteous and came out in the rain to greet us. The flowers were in full bloom in most cases, if the weather would have just cooperated we could have had a better time. But I made a lot of new friend and I had a good time despite the weather.
