{Disarmed} Re: repeat blooming Siberian in Zone 3

Hi Annette,

Siberian repeat bloomers are not the same as a 'rea'l rebloomer in the bearded classes. Usually, it is only 2-3 weeks from the initial bloom that it throws up some stalks. However, we have had a very strange summer weatherwise (I guess everyone can say that this year) and this is the second Sib. that has done out -of -season repeat bloom. 'Butter and Sugar'  did it last week but I thought it was fluke but there are others that are showing signs of growing bloom stalks probably because of our unheard of 90 F temps up here in the mountains. Both of these Sibs were in the same bed that is in full sun.

Dear Ellen,
Thanks for the photo. I had not heard of "Swirling Lavender." Glad to hear it is a repeat bloomer.
