Maybe they just need some exposure to some good irises... perhaps draw
people from other plant groups. These people already have that horticultural
passion for other plants and if they have an opportunity to see what great
irises are available they may take up the cause...
It sounds like you have some nice iris examples in your yard. Invite them to
take a look! Best of luck.
