Hi
Just a clarification regarding Maine, mountains, and temperatures.
Maine covers a large territory with many kinds of soil and 3+
hardiness zones (3,4,5 and higher on the southeastern coast). Dr.
Currier McEwen does not live in the mountains but right at the
coast...his property overlooks the Atlantic ocean. Since his home,
and the nearby Earthheart Gardens (who handle Currier's recent
introductions) is on a peninsula on the southeastern coast of Maine,
whether the weather is more temperate and the air is moister. His
locality would be zone 5 or zone 6 in terms of winter hardiness, I
believe.
Best wishes in your planting!

your wish. Send me your home address as old I had before several
years may be changed or corrected and I will send it to him too. I
think he will contact you. He like to test not seeds, but living
plants, which survive well in mountainous part of Maine where
temperatures gets as low as -40grad Celsius.
