Hi Jeff,
I know of several people who are working on yellow Siberians. First is
Currier McEwen in South Harpswell, Maine; second is Bob Hollingworth near
Lansing, Michigan; third is Hal Stahly near Flint, Michigan and fourth is
Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks of Joe Pye Weed's Garden near Boston,
Massachusetts.
I would imagine some of these are tetraploids, but don't know for sure. We
stopped at Bob Hollingworth's garden on our way home from Iowa and saw a lot
of yellow Siberians with various amounts of contrast between standards and
falls. Some were close, but none were quite selfs.
