Hi,
For one thing, there is a Louisiana iris e-mail robin.
We do/have discussed other classes at times, i.e. species, etc.
But the main focus of the Sibrob was always intended to be Siberian irises
and that is the main interest of the great majority of our members. That is
why they joined the Sibrob. A place where we can
talk mainly about Siberians - a focused list.
There is a another list on eGroups called the iris-talk for general
discussion of other classes. It is true that the lovely Japanese irises get
short shrift compared to the Tall Bearded and the other
bearded in general. Our own Kathy Guest, I would guess, has posted
more messages re JIs on the general list than anybody else in the past few
years and I applaud her for it.
