Ellen,
For weeds that get really close to siberians (we won't discuss the ones
that get between the rhizomes of the beardeds) I've found that the
bottomless plastic jug slipped down over the weeds right next to the
siberians provides a safe place to spray into without creating drift. A
friend told me yesterday that she finds old beer bottles along the road
and knocks the bottoms out and slips them right down into the siberians
and sprays into the bottle. She then leaves the bottle in place so she
knows what she's sprayed. Good luck!
