Our Region 9 Prairie Iris Soc. held it's annual show in Mattoon IL last
weekend.
My specimen of Jan and Marty's In Full Sail won best Siberian, and was
gorgeous!
OOH's and AAAH's from everyone there. Steve Varner was happy to take the pollen
home with him
:-)
Cold Frosty Morn Also looked great, and was equally praised.
Siberian season is just about done here, but I'm getting a little rebloom with
Mad Magenta. It's turned hot now, and spurias are in peak bloom. Time to start
dreaming of next year's seedlings. I've got a couple of photos (seedlings) to
post on the Beardless-photos list soon. Let me know what you think.
