Ellen,
I. typhifolia bloomed here over the weekend. It is a full week later than
last year. Lavender light wants to open. The bloom is coming.
It has been cold in Maine these last two weeks. We have had frosts inland.
Out here on the coast, we have no frost but everything is slow.
It is an exciting time of year!
