Laurie, do you have woodchucks or some other ground squirrel type thing.
I've seen woodchucks eat lots of flower bulbs.
Woodchuck got 160 feet of green beans on me 2 days ago. I've seen them eat
hollyhocks and numerous other flowers. No reason to believe iris are immune.

Possibly, Ellen, but I have a feeling it's the same culprit. Whatever it
is, so far it seems to be working on just one clump at a time. This is
REALLY working my nerves!
