I bet you he's still there. Look for holes, there will be a main
entrance and an emergency exit some distance away and probably a
little hidden.
You won't discourage them. I've tried filling the holes with dog and
cat doo, dumping it full of moth balls and stinging them with BB's.
Not going to catch them with a havahart either unless it's dumb luck.
Afraid the only way is doing them in. This would be #3 for me at the
farm so far.
At least I won't have any neighbors that feed them like I do at this
house.
