I have included a bad photo (only one I had) of the entry spot (wound) on 'Dear Currier' (Dunlop). The iris bud fly sure knows how to pick them..... but I had two bloom stalks on Dear Currier (first year planting) and the other one is blooming now. ;-) I broke off the whole other stalk and threw it away (not in the compost pile since I think it was inside chewing away.
While visiting Dean Cole's garden on Saturday, he had a little bit of Orchocheata dissimilis (spelling may be off) but I had fly damage only in my back garden. Nothing in the front where most Siberians are happily blooming now. I am in peak Sib.
bloom and also peak TB bloom..... the late Sibs are still in bud.
