Hi Anna Mae
We have sprayed all the beds of Siberians at Otara Birch for Eddie and many thanks to Bob Hollingworth for his fantastic advice in this matter.Eddie is in Hospital getting his other Knee replaced.I felt that because Otara Birch Siberians are such a good and large collection it need some work as the weeds where starting to win.I will soon go back to spot spray and fertilise and then apply a Woodchip Mulch.Once the Siberians are under control I might start helping getting the JI sprayed and getting the weeds under control.As a lot of people that I have contact with will know Plant Imports to New Zealand is difficult at the moment but I have not given up working on this matter.The difficulty of plant imports of any type of Iris makes the Otara Birch Collection an important Genetic Pool for New Zealand and it is a pity some clubs and societies over here don't seem to understand this fact or offer to help.
