Dreaming Yellow

 

Evening all.
 
Has anyone ever noticed that Dreaming Yellow looks a lot like Butter and Sugar right when it first opens?  Then a few hours later, it looks like it's supposed to look?
 
I cut a stem with a partially opened bud yesterday, and watched it open over the last day.  This morning, the falls opened a buttery yellow, and now the falls are the paler creamy yellow they're supposed to be, and darker yellow on the top quarter.
 
That might explain why I have 5 Dreaming Yellow trying to get just 1 Butter and Sugar.
