I am pondering moving my existing two year old Siberian bed to another
location where they will be seen by my TB customers. This year I was so busy
with sales that I was not able to show the Sibes to my customers. The Sibes
were in a location that was screened from the view of customers looking at
the TBs. Since I hope to be even busier next year, it is even more important
to move them where they can be seen.
The question is can I move the clumps intact without setting them back in
their flowering? Is there any technique that is more useful than just the
obvious of moving as much dirt as possible? If anyone has experience with
moving clumps, please let me know your impression about how successful the
process was for you.
Moving the Sibes allows me to plant the existing ones with the news ones to
be acquired this year. It also allows me to expand the LA bed into what is
the current Sibe bed. This was also my second year with LAs and I liked
those also.
