So where are all the hybridizers out there
If I collect the anthers from some

Hi Jim,
As for your first question....... Out making crosses, keeping notes, collecting pollen, transplanting seedlings, and yanking weeds! :)
I've had the best luck saving pollen in the freezer even if I'll be using it within a few weeks. For anything up to 3 days away, I just keep it in a spot that's out of the sun. The refrigerator is fine for up to a week, but I wouldn't push it any farther than that. That's dried and stored in a canister, BTW. Whether the ref's frost free won't matter if the pollen is protected.
I air dry the pollen (on the anthers if they aren't too fleshy, off the anthers if they are.) for about a day then pop it into a plastic film canister (cheap with a nice tight lid.) A permanent ink label goes on and goes into the freezer. For long term storage, These small bottles go into a mason jar with a tight lid to keep out extra moisture. Pollen should hold till the following year if there are no power outages of any length.
The tet/dip question you'll have to find answers to somewhere else. I've had some experience with daylilies where tets and dips will cross, but don't know about Sibs.
