Re: SHOW: Results and Siberians (hurrah!)

From: Bill Dougherty <103225.2126@compuserve.com>

Hello!

I ran our mid-season show. In April as part of a regular ISM meeting we
gave everyone a hands-on experience at floral arrangement and mock judging.
We publicized the artistic division with Federated Garden clubs and the
local community college which has classes in floriculture. We had only
eight arrangements from four people - very disappointng. I am hoping at our
late show we get better participation. By the way, I won the Siberian
section with a magnificently branched specimen of Coronation Anthem. Lost
in the voting for Best of Show to a TB.

Best Sibs in the garden this morning: Violet Joy, Liberty Hills, White
Triangles and one of my seedlings a child of Liberty Hills X Gull's Wing,
much like her mother
but with wider rounded falls, short, very erect plant habit.
