Hi, Judy Hollingworth here. Our Siberian season has blown by with 10
straight days between 88 and 93 degrees. Now the blooms are gone the temps
are in the 60's!! A note about Indy. We named it in the hope that it
would be in bloom for the AIS convention in Indianapolis. Sibs are usually
at peak for us about a week later than TB's and Indy was so early that we
thought we had a good chance that it would be in full bloom for the
Convention. But, the best laid plans...That year was an early one and it
was already bloomed out when the Convention started. Our experience
matches Linda's in Wisconsin, it was always our first Siberian to bloom in
Indiana and continues to mark the start of Siberian season for us now in
Michigan. We have 1200 Siberian seedlings to get in the ground this week
-so back to work. Judy Hollingworth
