Jim, we had 24 Sibrob messages on the Sat. the 24th....and 11 the next
day. To some folks on the Sibrob, especially those who are heavy
e-mail users and might belong to several mailing lists, this is a lot
of e-mail (and many private messages to wit) to plow through. It is
certainly proper to remind folks that the digest option is available.

That is my job, as I see it, to explain and suggest on this Siberian
iris robin.

Another point, when replying to anybody's e-mail, please take the time
to either cut out the non-essential sentences or write a fresh e-mail.
This also takes up band width and is good netiquette. :)

If anyone has any further comments about: 1) use of "heavy" mail days
or 2) converting to digest mode please send them to me privately.

It was solely my call based on two reports I rec'd from Sibrob
members.

p.s. Is it still green in CA, Harold? My sister-in-law who lives in
the Seattle area and is a new member on this list, has been out
working in her garden for what seems like week
