We bought many of our nursery pots in a large variety of small, medium,
and large sizes during the Eighties and Nineties at San Gabriel Nursery
and Florist, 632 S. San Gabriel Boulevard, San Gabriel, CA 91776; (626)
286-3782 ; (626) 286-0787 ; FAX (626) 286-0047. They are a retailer, but
they don't customarily do mail order. If you are in the vicinity of Los
Angeles County, however, you'll want to visit them in any case. They
also used to sell Dietes and Morea species and Iris Californicae. The
pots were the typical commercial and nursery style black, brick red, and
green from the approximately 2 inch sizes to the humongous ones holding
trees, 15 gallons or larger. The 5 gallon varieties were no problem as
late as 1996.
