Hello - if any SSI members have not completed their 2001 Siberian Popularity Poll
'ballot' please do so now. Due to the responses (a lot in the past week), we have
extended the deadline for a few days. You may mail to Barbara Schmieder or e-mail
privately for forwarding onto Barbara. I spoke with her by phone today and we have gotten
responses from about 20% of the present SSI membership (which is good for an AIS section
- Barbara told me this :-)
Two ballots came by e-mail late last night and they have been sent on to Barbara for
inclusion with the others. Should be a fine and interesting outcome and we can look
forward to Barbara's tally and article in the spring 2002 issue of 'The Siberian Iris'.
