Hello Bill
Yes all the seeds where from the crisper. I had them there for a
couple of years as I didn't quite know how to handle them at the time.
I have read so much about it now that I felt comfortable enough to
experiment this year. I was impressed just to get the two I got.
I am hoping to start some more for a couple friends of mine. So I am
going to try a different method next.
I was thinking of scratching the surface of the seed and placing it
on moistened sphagnum moss and see where that leads. Place once again
in baggies and put under lights at room temp.
Thank you also to R. Dennis Hager for your info on the JI. I also
have a Japanese Iris in my garden. I purchased it last year but
haven't seen it in bloom yet. I hope this year it will bloom for me.
Thank you to Sandy Ives as well for letting me in know when it's a
good time for planting.
I appreciate everyone's advice and will look for it again..lol
Take care everyone
Sandy in London
