Re: Acurate colors in TSI ads

I had the same concern with our new ad in TSI and decided the best way to assure the accuracy of the colors was to send Ellen a copy of the RHS color charts for the overall colors of two of the new flowers.  We are introducing 3 this season, a white with green veins and yellow hafts (no RHS designation), a blue with a white signal and a white wire edge (RHS 99B overall) and a violet near self, darker at the signal area with brown hafts (RHS 88A overall).  A single very accurate color copy of both fans, Blue Group 99 and Violet Group 88, was sent off to Ellen for the printer to compare with the proofs.  The colors on the copy were checked against the RHS fans before it was sent.  Another element of special concern in the flower could be covered with an additional RHS reference.

 

Also for general information, there are a few glitches in our copy in the new Fieldstone Gardens catalog just sent out.  The most important of these is the price of 'DEAR CURRIER', which should be 40.00 not 50.00.  The info on the web site seems to be correct.
