{Disarmed} Re: Something eating blossoms

Hi Ginny,
I call them climbing cutworms.  If you are having this problem go out a while after dark with a flash light and look carefully and you will probably find this rather large worm chomping away on the buds.

Subject: [sibrob] Something eating blossoms

Had a question today on another list, from Keene, NH. Something eats
her sib blossoms before they open. This happens here (Winnipeg)
sometimes with lilium. We thought it was tent caterpillars. Does
anyone have any ideas?

Ginny
