Sorry but the 'beardless iris photo' list is already in effect.
No one will be able to post .jpg to the Sibrob since they it
will not accept them. This is what the iris-talk list does with
the iris-photo list.
The JIRobin list also does NOT allow images with good reason.
The owner of that list (who is also on the Sibrob) forgot to
turn on his virus scanning device and inadvertently sent a
virus-infected message to the Sibrob. We all can forget and do
something like that. That is the only reason that attachments
will not be permitted on this list.
The Sibrob list has played a minor role, albeit like a public
relations tool, in the dialogue about Siberian irises on the
internet and I think a very positive one...certainly not a
negative one and let us keep it that way. Discussion on the
Sibrob and the photos on the BeardlessIrisPhotos list.
