Hello - we had to leave the convention early and missed the
Awards Banquet where I have read on the AIS Region 18 mailing
list that Bob Hollingworth received the second runner-up for his
lovely 'Somebody Loves Me'. Did any other SIBE receive a
mention? Congrats to Bob.
In the Griffie garden in PA, as well as Michel Zarky's
distinctive blue 'Zarky One' which had multi-hued pinkish aqua
fringed (?) style arms. It carried a name-tag but not the white
official one of the guests but it was in the guest garden.
While sitting on one of the benches chatting, someone pointing
to two gorgeous SIBE clumps in the distance. I ran down and
recognized 'Pansy Purple' looking grand as usual. Harold Griffie
said it was one of his favs..mine, too. I wanted to put name
tags on them since they were used as accent plants in that
particular garden and were not marked.
STILL waiting for TSI in my mail....
