I'm getting bloomstalks (early for here) on very short foliage this year. I'm wondering if anyone else in the area of the fall/winter drought is experiencing similar pattern or if I've just been in VA so lomg I've forgotten how to grow Sibs. The whole season is out of kilter here with MDB's still blooming with TB's(SDB's, IB's,BB's, I.verna and cristata ). Is this from the weather or has my garden gone crazy on its own. Rainstorm drove me in or I would be out there fighting a horrible stoloniferous goldenrod that showed up last year and went crazy overwinter.
