Re: ROKU OJI

Laurie,

Mr. Shimizu does not sell any of his plants in Japan. ROKU OJI was sent as
a guest plant to the convention in Michigan several years ago. Bob
Hollingworth introduced it for him here in the U.S. It was Bob's
responsibility to register it with AIS and also to notify Keith that it was
introduced. All other plants by Mr. Shimizu have been registered and
introduced through Draycott Gardens. If it is not in the R & I booklets we
will have to rectify that mistake. Thank you for bringing it to our
attention.

ROKU OJI is a six fall Siberian and is dark blue-purple with a white blaze
on each fall. It is quite nice.

Carol Warner, Draycott Gardens
