Well, all you Siberian types, I was also at the SSI boardmeeting as Kathy
Guest proxy so here is the scoop, the 2000 convention is June 3 and 4. I
don't remember if it included Friday the 2nd. But June 3,4 for sure! The
convention committee is still planning things and possibly an auction as well
as a closing brunch on Sunday. There was some concern expressed about the
lack of detail available and there was much discussion in regard to having an
award guidelines for Siberian mini conventions. This would most likely be for
favorite in Region and favorite out of Region cultivar. It would be presented
hopefully in 2000 at the convention. that is all the info there was available
