Harold, I acompany your meaning about receiving Sibrob mesages by digest
mode for persons who for any reasons can't or don't like download messages
with photo attachments. As I remember on Iris-photos there is request to
send only photos without any comments, though somebody do. Our photos are
not only to be sent for wiewing than put in archives. They are and can be
subject of discussion, learning, identification, etc. From other hand we
must send smaller *.jpg files, which don't do troubles even for older
computers. Such a files are about 30KB. Those about 100KB or more on
Iris-photos list give good immage, but are to large for some of sibrobers. I
think without possibilities to share photos and discussions on it, our
Sibrob will lose great part of interest.

Kaunas, Lithuania, zone 5, where is told the coldest spring in this century
happened. Today after about month first sunny day appeared. Temperatures
nigt 0-3C, /somewhere in Lithuania, but not in Kaunas until -3C/, days 7-9
/12C-exelent/, today 17C-hurahhh. I.pumila began to flower at 10 of May
instead 28 of April in normal year. No SDB in bloom yet.
