Christy, the slide of Turn A Phrase was taken with 25 speed Kodak film. The
camera was an old manual Canon which finally suffered a light leaking death.
Breeding for plicata-like patterns is not something we do on purpose, though
they appear occaisionally in different forms. Some are smooth like Turn A
Phrase ( a development of Bee Warburton's Atoll pattern perhaps), some are
veiny and speckled. We have one of the latter in a cross of Blackberry
Jubilee X Salamander Crossing that a couple of judges in our area are trying
to get us to look at favorably. Marty
