This change at the rooting of the plants is a very interesting subject. I 
know that in daylilies they do treat seeds and the rate of success is very 
small. About 10% or less. It would make sence to use the tissue cultures 
because you have so many to work with, I think. Even when you treat the 
daylily plant by removing everything down to the crown, it is not always 
successful. Anymore information on this would be appreciated. Will check with 
a friend of mine who has a lab for his responce.
