Yes - it would take a huge amount of transgressions for anybody to
get "kicked out" of this robin. We all have posted messages in
error.
There is no prohibition in a technical sense re the sending of
attachments in the Sibrob files. I was going to set that in place
but decided that wasn't necessary. Actually, I just woke up after
falling asleep by the fire for about 5 hrs. and was startled to
read Jim's post. I think that there might have been something
wrong with the jpg. files that you tried to send but don't know.
Email attachments are permitted through the Sibrob but it is
not encouraged for several reasons: download time, older computers
which balk at large attachments (mine for instance), etc.

I think you have to be a member of this list to send any photos.
The manager of this particular list is a member of Sibrob, Chris
Lindsey. Edmundas and Harold as well as others have sent pix
to this list in this manner. Chris H. and Mike Lowe also know
the particulars.

Btw, the OneList is merging in the near future with another huge
mailing list operation but I am hopeful that I can just transfer
the entire Sibrob list myself without having all 127 of us
make our own individual transfers. We will have plenty of time
before 'it' happens to get things in place. The proprosed name
will be eLists, Inc. I have to go back and check the letters I
have gotten through the Manager's List. It will be painless
except for all the managers. :)
This new e-mail merger promises to retain the ease and reliability
of the OneList mailing lists. It looks like a business decision
with the Board of Directors being evenly divided between both
corporations. Have to remind myself that the Internet is also a
business entity which I forget until it knocks me over the head.
Time to head upstairs at 4 a.m. until the dogs wake me at 6...zzzz
Cheers,
Ellen
