In answer to your question, Yes. Some Siberians will not grow well away from
the home garden and at times even that is suspect. Since I am close to the
outer edge of the envelope, I expect that. Sometimes I will kill a cultivar
once and end the experiment with that cultivar. Others (Sultan's Ruby) I am
going to have to kill three times before I give up on it.
