Do not soak siberians/Japanese iris in chlorox. Use Benlate instead. These
irises must be kept moist during shipping and at least 3 weeks or until new
growth is showing. We wrap the roots/rhizomes in wet paper towel and then
tightly wrap plastic bag to keep them moist. In fact they will be rather dry
in a week. Soak for up to 48 hrs. before planting. I don't really like to
