Re: soaking seeds

From: "Patricia R. Wenham" <prw@televar.com>

Hi,

I cut a foot and part of a leg off some old panty hose, Made a knot at
the toe part, put the seeds in the top part, made a knot a little way
above them and then another know at the very top. I dropped the seed
end in the tank and swished it around to get it wet and it sank right
away. I left the top knot outside the tank and that was an anchor and a
handle too. When I wanted to check on the seeds I merely hung on to the
knot when I lifted the lid and was able to fish them up out of the water
to check them. I probably would have rinsed them in a light bleach
solution if I were on a well but we are on city water and I felt they
did not need any more bleach. I cut the hose in the area of the seeds,
took them out and planted them.

Hope this helps.

Patti
